She joined DEO in January 2013 as the Deputy Legislative Affairs Director. Before joining DEO, Cissy practiced law with the Tallahassee based firm Bryant Miller Olive, PA, where she had a successful legal and government consulting practice. Cissy received her J.D. magna cum laude from Florida State University College of Law and her B.S. from Florida State University. Title: It’s Working – An Inside Look at Florida’s Economy Attendeess will receive an overview of Florida's economy, highlighting the remarkable economic turnaround story, engage in a discussion about why policy matters in creating an opportunity economy and how the State stimulates capital investment and job creation.
