Thompson is a partner in the law firm of Thompson, Crawford & Smiley. He worked as legal assistant in the personal injury field for three years before entering law school. He received his JD Degree with Honors from the Florida State University and is admitted in both the Florida and Georgia Bars. Tom has handled a wide variety of civil suits in both State and Federal Courts, practicing mainly in the fields of insurance and employment law. He is certified by the Florida Bar as an expert in the field of Civil Trial Law. Tom has served on various committees for the Tallahassee Bar Association, the State Bar of Florida and was appointed by the Florida Attorney General as a chairman for the State of Florida’s New Motor Vehicle Arbitration Board.
