We just did our second move with Two Men and a Truck/Tallahassee and had another great experience. Caroline in the office was so helpful and professional in setting up the move. The our moving team, Christian, Rasheed and Naheen (SP? on last 2 names) were fantastic. So courteous, hard-working and CAREFUL. Once again, we had no breakage or loss. We highly recommend this moving company.

Guys who do the moving were good. Very efficient packing the truck...but stalled considerably when unloading! By stalled I mean they carried one lamp at a time while unloading unlike the stacks of stuff they took out to put in the truck. My guess this is designed to help them get the maximum amount quoted for the delivery since it is charged by the hour.
Only other concern is on the administrative side. At the end of the move the guy with the tablet couldn't access the company's website because he said that his tablet was overheating! Again, this "problem" resulted in racking on an additional 30 minutes to the move. When he finally "got clearance" from someone at the office he used his phone and I was asked to sign documents that weren't viewable. Just the blanks where one is supposed to sign. (This was true at the start of the love as well, but I was told that they were the same documents I signed when I completed the quote/contract process several weeks before the move. I then had to wait two weeks (and call for copies of all the documents) because they were never sent by email as promised. When I received the final documents I was able to figure out how a move that took a total of an hour of actual moving could be charged at 4 hours! Ya see they also charge for time spent traveling to and from their store and that is when the clock starts and stops. Now, where we moved from and to were less than a 15 minute drive away, but these folks felt it was honest to charge double. I guess they stopped at Starbucks drive through on the way to and fro and I ended up buying them far more than a couple of lattes!
When I wrote the manager an email I received a man immediate response that didn't really address any of the issues I presented, but instead had what read like preprepared responses. Clearly they get similar concerns expressed by other former customers.
Honestly after writing this it is pretty clear that I won't contract for their services again. It all just felt dishonest and untrustworthy in the end. Unfortunate because the guys who did the mover were extremely competent and pleasant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tj S.Fort Walton Beach, FL04May 30, 2023
This company and the crew were amazing. The customer service was phenomenal and Chris, Taco, and Takari got right to work the moment they walked in. It was smooth and they made the process very easy. They were also friendly and very professional. All of my items were well taken care of. They packed with care, transported my items, and loaded everything into storage for me. 10/10 for the staff and these crew members. I will definitely be recommending to friends/colleagues. Trust me on this, you won't regret it!

I've used this moving company three times in six years and would recommend them.
The good:
1. Scheduling a move is easy. You fill out an online form with some basic info about your move, then they call you to confirm, ask you for any needed clarification and provide you pricing and an ETA on when your movers will arrive, how many there will be, etc.
2. They are punctual. If they say they'll be there by 9AM, chances are they'll be there by 8:45. Also, they call you when they're en route just to make sure you're ready for them.
3. They work hard and fast and do what it takes to get the job done including taking doors off hinges, unscrewing the feet from an oversized couch, etc.
4. Sometimes they'll throw in an extra worker for free which speeds things up and simplifies moving heavier items.
The less good:
1. Price. Every time I've used them, my needs have been the same but the price is always higher than the time before. The price for my move this year was a little under $300 for two guys, one truck and less than an hour of work.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Michael, We thank you for your honest and complimentary feedback! We are glad to hear you've chosen us time and again as your movers and are confident in the services we provide. We apologize for any inconvenience our pricing increases have caused, as it's something we don't look forward to doing to our customers, though necessary to remain competitive in the area. We will be sure to share your feedback with our team and appreciate your review!

Worst moving experience we've ever had. The labor they sent was not equipped for the job. The truck they sent would not go up our driveway. They ruined $5000+ worth of furniture, destroying one table that had never even been used and they tried to hide it by propping the damaged table leaves in the corner so I couldn't see the damage. They dropped a box of Wedgewood China and pottery made by my daughters class when she was in kindergarten and didn't divulge that either. It was all shattered. It was clear from the box that it had been dropped. I've been waiting on repair of the table for 3 months and it is the worst repair effort I've ever seen. We've used 6 different movers in our adult life and this is the worst experience I've ever had.

4.5 stars. Two Men and a Truck provided me with a nearly seamless move. The crew arrived when promised and worked fast--completing the job under the time budgeted and saving me about $150 off the estimate. While they treated my items with care, they did have one misstep at the end and broke a foot off a piece of furniture, but the damage was easily repaired (and I haven't had a move yet where at least one thing didn't get damaged :-) ).

I made an appointment for Two Men and a Truck and I actually got 3 guys to help out with my move from a 3rd story, 2 bedroom apartment to my new 2 story, 3 bedroom house. I was pretty amazed at how fast my furniture was wrapped up in the protective covers and brought down to the truck. The movers communicated well with me and let me know of any questions that they had.
When we got to the house, I was a little bit skeptic on whether or not they would be able to get some of the larger furniture up the stairs. There is a low hanging area on the stairwell and I didnt think it would be possible to get the large furniture up (large oak headboard, oak dresser). To my surprise, they made it happen and they did it with ease.
I can't remember all 3 guys names but the main guy was Warren. They did a fantastic job. If I could, I would reccommend all 3 of them for a raise.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

4.5 !! Over the span of 3 years my boyfriend and I have used their services 3 times overall; once a year come the end of our yearly lease terms. Whether we had 3 destinations for pick up and drop off, or had multiple questions before and during the process, they have always been very courteous the whole time. Our most recent time having used their services last year, we were moving from a small apartment to a house. One of the bulkier items (the large wooden office desk) was accidentally impacted on the doorway. HOWEVER- I would like to make it clear the movers did their best with what I considered a small entry way into the hall, did not damage the item, and took responsibility for the damage. Our complex was trying to have us pay for the damage once the final bill was sent our way BUT nonetheless it's important to know this company and its staff had integrity and were very responsive, ultimately taking care of the specific damage cost with the apartment complex. Again this was the only minor mistake in a span of 3 years so I wish I could put the rating as 4.5. We appreciate their continuously great punctuality and patience for successfully helping us move on dates and times that fall on the busiest days for moving students in a college town!

This was my 2nd move with 2 Men and a Truck. The first time I moved from a 3/2, 2220sf house 20 miles out of town to a small 880sf townhouse in town - one of their agents came out and took inventory and I was given an estimate of $450. I'm not completely sure I told them about my piano and I ended up keeping a dining room suite that I had not intended to keep. A TON of things could not fit on the truck and were left behind for me to move AND my final bill nearly doubled! I took the hit thinking perhaps it was at least partially my fault for not mentioning those couple of things. So, recently I purchased a townhouse and needed to move about a mile out of the 880sf townhouse I had rented into my new larger townhouse. I was VERY specific naming what I had to move - I didn't want a repeat of the first move - no one came out to look. And again I was given an estimate of $450.00 for 3 men and 1 truck. However, I got 2 men and 1 truck. They loaded maybe 25 - 30 boxes first then the larger items and after 4 hours told me there were 3 big items left (piano, stack-able washer/dryer and a large desk) and told me I could only take 2 - so they left the desk and a blanket so I could move it myself. Scratched the front door of the townhouse I was leasing, broke the leg off a storage cabinet, left me another blanket to move some mirrors they didn't take. The move took 6 hours and again they left a TON of things! All my patio furniture, all my shed items, 1 full closet - all packed and ready to go, and other misc items packed and ready to go. I don't know if the movers get any instructions on how to load items but the 2 men I received did not seem to know how to load effectively. I had to help them push my piano up their ramp. . . I'm 68 years old. The move took 6 hours and again my bill nearly doubled - $840!! I only paid the movers the estimate of $450.00, and told them I would call the manager Tuesday. (Monday was a holiday). Taylor called me early Tuesday morning and said that "my first move was like this" - seemed to be implying I mislead them about what had to be moved. He told me I was only charged for 2 men instead of the 3 I was quoted in my contract - which is ridiculous since they charge by the hour - 3 men could have loaded faster than 2! He asked if I was refusing to pay the difference and I said I was not refusing but hoped we could talk this through and reach a fair settlement. Taylor took the blame for the bad move and offered to take the $450.00 for the move - which I appreciate - he wished me good luck on any future moves - with another company. Two bad moves and I can't recommend this company. The movers I had worked hard in 100 degree temperatures, were polite and nice. I tipped them $10.00 each. I got my brother, son and 2 young grandsons to help me move the rest of my things with their pickup truck and it took 2 days - also in 100 degree temps!
